Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Pixit. They are written in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it the same way.

The agreement

By downloading or using Pixit, you agree to these terms. If you get Pixit from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s own standard licence terms also apply; where the two differ, the App Store terms win for anything Apple governs.

Your licence to use Pixit

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pixit on devices you own or control. You may not resell the app, rework it into a competing product, or attempt to extract its source code except where the law expressly permits it.

Your content

Anything you create in Pixit is yours. We claim no ownership of it and no licence to use it.

Bookings and payment

Where Pixit lets you book and pay for something, the published terms set out how the money is held and released, what a cancellation costs, and what each side owes the other. Read them before you book — that is the part a summary cannot stand in for.

Acceptable use

Use Pixit lawfully. Don’t use it to infringe other people’s rights, and don’t attempt to disrupt, probe, or abuse the app or anyone else through it.

Updates and availability

We may update Pixit, change features, or — if it ever comes to that — retire it. We are a small studio; we ship carefully, but we do not promise the app will be available forever or free of interruptions.

No warranty

Pixit is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent the law allows, we make no warranties — express or implied — about fitness for a particular purpose, and you use the app at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, The It Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pixit. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the update appears on this page and the effective date above changes with it. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
