Buying inside an app

Anything you buy inside an app is bought through the store you got it from, the App Store or Google Play, so that store’s refund process is the one that applies. Where an app takes a payment directly instead, its own terms say so.

What we promise, and don't

The apps are supplied as they are, without a promise that they will suit a particular purpose, and our liability is limited to what the law allows us to limit it to. You keep ownership of your lists, photos and notes; we claim none of it.

Copyright complaints

If something in one of our apps or on this site uses your work without permission, send a notice to our designated copyright agent:

The notice needs your signature; the work you say is being infringed; where the material is, so we can find it; your name, address, phone and email; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorised by you, your agent or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you own the work or are authorised to act for whoever does.

If your content was removed and you think that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same agent. Accounts that infringe repeatedly are closed. Our agent is registered with the US Copyright Office (DMCA-1084697). Updated 31 October 2026.
